Heller, bitter getreidiger Start. Herb-hellmalziger Mittelteil, ein metallischer Ton bleibt permanent im Mund. Getrediger, süßlich hefiger Abgang. 7/8/6/6/9/6

Lichtbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is biterzoet met iets van pruimen, wat noten, karamel en toffee. Prima.

Une chose est certaine, le style des ambrées n'est pas un style facile. Mais quand j'écris cela, je sous entends avant tout qu'il est compliqué d'avoir des ambrées de très grande classe. Et on reste surtout sur des ambrée qui se ressemblent un peu toutes sans être extraordinaire. Ici, nous ne sommes absolument pas sur une ambrée stéréotypée, mais ce n'est pas forcément dans le bon sens avec des arômes très particuliers pas des plus appréciables. Le visuel est sur un ambré légèrement voilé avec une fine effervescence et une mousse blanche ne nappant pas toute la surface. Le nez est particulier, miel orange un peu avancée, caramel, miel, savon.... Cocktail très particulier que nous retrouvons à la dégustation. La structure en elle-même est plutôt pas mal avec une amertume donnant de la fraicheur sur l'attaque et l'arrière bouche alors que la base maltée va davantage s'exprimer en 2ème bouche. L'alcool, à 6 % est honnête. Et si la corpulence est moyenne, la longueur est quant à elle réellement limitée. Pas à la hauteur d'une bière d'abbaye ni de son appartenance à la Belgique.

Servida en cáliz, color ambar con destellos cobrizos, espuma beige claro cremosa bien retenida. Aroma maltoso, caramelo, algo de cereal. En boca es maltosa, sensación algo dulce con equilibrio amargo, ligero punto ácido. Notas de malta tostada, caramelo, frutos secos...final seco. Una belgian amber ale nada complicada, agradable y facil de tomar.

clear amber, huge light brown head. belgian yeasty, nutty, malty aroma, quite dry, not too sweet. flavor is nutty, bitter nutty, slightly watery, a bit weird for an ambree, more herbal and nutty bitterness than i would have expected. At least it is not overly sweet. some of the bitterness might be alc. that burns through the rather mild and watery flavor.

Bottle. Golden amber color, white foam. Aroma: light floral hops, lollipops, malt. Taste: sweetish, slightly bitter, malt, lollipops, drinkable.

Bottle. Foggy amber colour.Huge frothy head. Fine lacing. Aroma: Pale malts, some caramel. Spicy yeast. Dried apples & pears. Hoppy hints. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Light sweet taste. Malty. Spicy. Somewhat fruity. light to medium ending bitterness. Grassy aftertaste. Decent ale.

Pours..a huge amount of foam, not a gusher, mind you. It looks to be a clear copper colour.
Smells very fruity. Peach, strawberry, sour apples,.
Where the smell seemed very vibrant, the taste is a 180. Light apple fruity tartness, goodish malt backbone, a dash of pepper. Alcohol comes through stronger than it should. Not very appealing.
Fairly light body and carbonation.
Meh.
