Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aromas dominate this brew. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine NW hops.

I bought this in a bomber in Billings, MT and consumed it at Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone Park. It comes out a splendid yellow-amber fluid and gives a strong, long lasting white head that is replenished by some active carbonation. I smell pine needles (quite appropriate), biscuit and grain. The taste is just short of a hop bomb. I detect pine, grass and grapefruit with a mighty fine, lingering bitterness. Tip of the hat to the brewer. Enjoyed in the time and the place.

100IBU but not too bitter or maybe I'm becoming immune to IPAs.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy dark golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the label. Dank hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Pours clear orange, medium off-white head, diminishing but with nice residual and lacing. Aroma is pretty meh. Pine resin, hints of caramel and bathrooms. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium plus bitter, resinous but not much else. Medium body, strong lingering bitterness. Hints of far finish perfume. Me no likey.

Draught at the Office in San Carlos for the Portugal v. France Euro 2016 Final. Overt citrus with moderate pine adding nice balance. Hazy orange with full white head that retained throughout the drink. Taste follows the aroma profile. Enjoyable.
