Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aromas dominate this brew. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine NW hops.

Draught at the Office in San Carlos for the Portugal v. France Euro 2016 Final. Overt citrus with moderate pine adding nice balance. Hazy orange with full white head that retained throughout the drink. Taste follows the aroma profile. Enjoyable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with smallish head. Dank, fruity aroma. Lots of tropical and citrus. Flavor also marked by strong fruit presence. A touch of sweetness and just a slight bitterness. I like this one.

Bottle bought as a gift. Dark gold, hazy. Thick. A bit of white head encircles the edge of the glass. Fresh mango, grapefruit, and subdued pine resin aroma. Bitter hop perfectly balanced by intense shortbready malt. The long finish is much note bitter. An extreme experience.

12 oz bottle poured. Bright orange pour with a white ocean foam head. Big pine aroma explosion upon pouring. Flavor is well balanced, with a clean, cool finish. Piney throughout, but medium bitter. Orage fruit background. Standard, solid IIPA here. Very nice.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is grass and earthy pine forward with a bread backbone. Flavor has bread and grass with a strong earthy pine note growing through the finish.

Bomber from the grocery store. Hazy orange pour with a collapsing white head. Aroma is citrusy, earthy, piney, light floral. Taste is highly bitter with light malt sweetness; piney, citrusy flavors. Not bad.

Lighter in colour and lighter in body than most DIPAs. Very nice hop profile, with citrus and pine notes both in the nose, as well as in the mouth, just as it’s advertised. The malt body does cut a bit of the bitterness, but doesn’t overwhelm, as it sometimes happens in other beers of this style. A bitter/salty refreshing aftertaste. Surprisingly drinkable, for its ABV, though it will get to your head easily.
