Big flavor, intense pine and citrus aromas dominate this brew. We keep the malt profile clean in this Imperial IPA to let the love lights shine on the fine NW hops.

Bomber. Golden color, big fluffy white head. Tons of sticky lacing. Citrus and piney aroma, some maltiness. Huge hop flavor; slightly sweet and moderately bitter. Citrus, pine... A little malty. Sturdy.

22oz bottle pours a murky orange with some soft, white head. Nose has heavy soap and some perfume, resinous, dried orange juice, some honey. Flavor has a bit of a crackery backbone then all citrus, orange, grapefruit, soap, grass. Sticky finish.

Dark golden color with a white head with medium duration and lacing. Aroma has notes of resins, grapefruit with light caramel hints. Flavor has a decent bitterness with good fruity notes, mainly grapefruit and tagerine with citrus hints in the final, medium maltiness. Good bitterness as well in the final with long duration.

Bottle thanks to ChrisO. It pours clear golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is soft, juicy, icing sugar, apricot, nectarine, tangerine and orange chewits. The taste is crisp, juicy, orange peel, nectarine, peppery, grassy, mild pine, oily throughout, lemon poppyseed muffin and light alcohol warmth with a dry, almost grainy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Oily mouth-feel. Decent stuff.

Botella 65 cl en el momento en el kraken el 30-07-2015. (r159).

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a soft semi-hazy bronzed orange color. No head nor lacing appeared.
The smell started off with sweet onion running into a floral to grassy to citrus hoppiness.
The taste was mainly bitter with a light sweetness from the onion part. The grassiness comes back slightly sweet and damp. Lingering sweet onion to floral grassiness starts in the aftertaste and runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and leads to a damp smoothness to it.
Overall, a bit different to me for a DIPA, what may lack in appearance (no head nor lacing) makes up in smell and taste. I’d probably have again.
