another epic share by bobo ! 026/200 2008 vintage kriek , 4 years in oak, 1 year bearing . pours red, deep, very light pink foam . smell is realy nice cherries, and ( as i always get in a good and old kriek) swimming pool-scent ( sounds discusting, i know, but it truely aint ! ) taste is very dry, cherry, sweet and sour at the same time. complex, bit to high carbo for my personal taste. plus , feels ’less thick’ than the geuze to me , wich i had just before this one. yet this truely is an amazing one as well! but i just prefered the geuze over this one ... thnx champ !

Bottle at Jack & Leighton’s birthday celebration, many thanks to teorn88! It pours clear red with a medium pinkish-white head. The nose is floral (particularly chamomile), mouldy wood, spice, blue cheese, Granny Smith apple, faint jam and cherry syrup. The taste is initially big on the tartness, sour cherry, green apple, lemon, sherbet, jam and fruit syrup with a dry finish. Medium body, high carbonation and slightly syrupy mouth-feel. Not a whole depth of flavour, but very tasty stuff.
