Bottled. Same name, yet different label and ABV ( 6,5 on the current botteling I have before me, 6 on RB ) Rating it here, since I imagine this is batch-variation and just a new label. I trust the admins enough for them to notify me if I am wrong here . Pours rather clear, dark blonde to amber. Good white head. Smell is bit sweet, fruity ( apple and peach-notes ) bit yeasty and some malts. Taste is more bitter than anticipated. A metallic sidenote that provides an interesting, and actually quite yummie experience to the beer. malty, in an aromatic way, and a mild hop character (mostly bitter, but contains some of the fruity notes that also gave their presence in the scent ) Aftertaste is rather yeasty, but - unlike many other belgians - balanced. The MF is agreeable ( quite enjoyable for a 6 abv, especially with this intensity of flavor ) and the carbo is high, but agreeable. yeah, Den triest def. went up in my experiences and did not let me down with this ’regular blonde’ - a stryle I am not a big fan of to begin with.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ 20ste Zomerbierfestival. Made for a chiro (a scouts-like organization). Hazy golden, small head. Nose is overly yeast, hay, sweetish with Vitamin C. Taste is overripe fruits, overly yeast, hay, raw dough, Vitamin C,.. Body is raw dough & overly yeasty. Dull at best, too bad.

Bottle @ the brewery. Clear yellow colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Well balanced blond beer. Fruity character with hoppy finish. Bitter with medium sweet notes. Good beer.

31/12/2011 75cl bottle @ De Heeren van Liedekercke - BB:17/7/2012 (2011-748)

Clear blond beer, small chunks floating around, big off-white head, bit adhesive, stable. Aroma: enormously fruity, passion fruits, canned peaches, mango, sweet but not sugary. MF: good carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, with notes of passion fruit, green banana, some pineapple, also a little bitter with citrus touches. Aftertaste: bitter but subtle, passion fruits and pineapple. Really nice beer.

Yellow, hazy body with a white creamy head. Floral aroma with some caramel. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Quite ok.

Small, just off-whtie head over faintly (cold?)hazy orange-yellow beer. Bit toasted & pale malts; faint yeastesters. Just sourish, citrussy. Spritzy, with some fruity sweetness in the background. Light to medium bodied, gristslickness. RIPENED! beer. Thé advantage (if taken) of 75cl bottles, compared to tapbeer: this beer has had time to come to its senses.
