750ml bottle. Spicy, slightly leathery and funky with some earthiness and hints of smoke. A bit flat and weird.

Bottle 0.75l at Ardes Residence, Helsinki. BBE2025. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citric elements, wheat, malts... some twisted elements. Little bit of flat.

Sampled from the tap at Afterthought. Pours a clear earthy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light earthy grass and light hay with a bit of pine and flora supporting. Flavor has a nice grass and light pine note with some flora and hay backing.

This is nuts. The most extreme Blanche I've had. Grapefruit bitterness and a bunch of funk.

Bottle, 750 ml shared with Miro B, kajser27 and Max. Hazy orange with huge white head. Dishwasher citrus in aroma, phenolic, lasting strong bitter finish. Medium+ carbonation. Medium bodied.

19 sept 2021: Bottle, lot 1M21 best before end 2024. Color: Hazy orange golden, huge white head, rising above the glass in a way only Fantôme beers can do... :). Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty, quite a lot of fruity notes of sourish grapefruit and lemon, herbal / spicy coriander notes. Taste: Wheat malt, yeasty, nice amount of fruity bitterness, grapefruit notes, lemon hints, herbal hints. Medium to over medium grapefruit-like bitterness and dry mouthfeel at finish. Light sweetness and light to moderate sourness. No doubt about the 'Pamplemousse' in this edition. 7 4 7 4 15 3,7 Update 2 march 2022: Bottle, lot c88a17 best before end 2021. Color: Slightly hazy orange golden, huge white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty, subtle herbal / spicy coriander notes. Very little fruity grapefruit and lemon this time. Taste: Wheat malt, yeasty, some bitterness that’s getting more noticeable at the finish. No grapefruit notes this time, but there is some subtle fruity and bitter orange peel. Spicy notes, peppery hints. Dry mouthfeel at finish. Light sweetness, no sourness this time. Very likely no 'Pamplemousse' at all in this edition. Nice to recognize the differences in these editions, I prefer the ‘traditional’ one without the Pamplemousse. 7 4 8 4 16 3,9
