0.33 l bottle, thanks to my sis for it. Pours jet black with thick and dense beige head. Nose is booze, grains, chocolate and cocoa. Its taste is huge sweet bomb with notes of chocolate, moderate fruits, some coffee and cocoa. The beer’s have incredibily heavy and thick body, almost no carbonation and closes with long lastin, warming and sweet, pretty boozy. Great one.

Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, espresso, dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Body is thick and full. Remarkably drinkable, this beer hides its high alcohol content well. Huge and thick but you can still drink it with zeal. Exemplary balance.

Appearance is oily jet black, no had at all bar some tan bubbles. Aroma is big- chocolate, whisky, coffee, fudgy malt, dark rum, woody earthy malt, scorched malt, leathery notes, vanilla hints, booze-soaked dark fruit. Taste is rich dark chocolate, espresso coffee, burnt raisin and overdone fruitcake, roast earthy malt, coffee grounds, lots of bitterness, liqueur chocolate, cocoa powder. Intense, almost too much.

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, brown head. Sweetish and very malty aroma, notes of molasses, vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Sweet and heavy flavour, molasses, tar, vanilla, dark bitter chocolate, coffee.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with small mocha head. Aromas of dark roasted malts, soy sauce, dark chocolate, savory, fudge, light tobacco and some dark sweet fruits. Taste is very roasty, light hoppy, malty, dark chocolate, light tobacco. Pretty damn nice!

330ml bottle, 2+ years old. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, booze. Taste is extremely rich, intense dark chocolate and coffee, alcohol, liquorice, roast malts, more alcohol, very bitter. Full bodied, thick. Seems like a nice stout, shame about the harsh booziness.

Taste is slightly harsh, sour coffee, dark malts, raw licorice, alcohol, minerals, grass, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, fekete szín. Kávés, csokis, kakaós illat. Csokis, kávés, kakaós ízek, földes, fűszeres aromákkal. Testes, száraz, alig szénsavas, erősen keserű. Túl szigorú, túlságosan elbillen a száraz, földes irányba.
