Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, dense, white head. Rather malty aroma, with some bready hints. Grassy, cheese and citrusy notes. The flavor has a little bitterness, some alcohol hints, oranges and quite a lot of grass. Medium to full body, smooth on the palate. Lasting finish with some bitterness and too much grass. Not much of an Imperial IPA, but it’s not bad either. Don’t like the cheesy touch though. 141219

[Trade with McTapps] Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, sugar and hint of orange. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm, sweet and malty finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Post Borefts Tasting, Tulip Hotel Room 118. Clear amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles. Sweetish dry caramel malts. Very mild citric hops. Dry finish. In dire need of some hops. Fine.

Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 thanks to whomever shared this one. Clear amber with reddish hues. Nose is pale malts, citric pith, butterscotch, straw. Taste comprises spice, bread dough, bitter citric notes, orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre affair, lacks hop presence.

330 cl. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2014 Hotel Room tasting. Thank you! Green bottle. Clear golden, off-white. Odd yeast, floral, lemony, strange nose. Taste is strange sticky malt, leaves, light hops, herbal, floral, caramel. Quite sweet, not very good esp. for the style.
