Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium, June 2013 consumed at Shrewsbury Folk Festival Shropshire, Friday 23rd August 2013 Pours mid gold actually I look again and think it is more orange/gold clear as you like. Fruity with a dab of yeast, the aroma is a little summery maybe floral perhaps peachy or apricot floral. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Medium, rather dense yellowish tinted head, fed by lively carbonated orange beer. Grapefruit, rosewater, passion fruit - all the classical New World hoparomas. Bitter and fruity. Citrus, grapefruit, but again passion fruit, with a sweet(ish) background. Light body, spritzy carbonation, long-lasting flavours. Aftertaste even has a light acidity, that makes it even more fruity. Light, but good, classical IPA. Another good one from del Ducato.

Bottle 330ml.Unclear medium orange orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, mandarin, fresh mandarin. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, fruity, citrus - orange, warm citrus, pine, dry. IMO very nice and good balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121217]

33cl bottle, Lot# 24O12, BB 09/2013.

20/XII/12 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: IX/13 (2012-1384)

Little cloudy golden orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, very stable, growing even, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of sweet passion fruit, pineapple, ripe mango, lychee on syrup (in cans), almost sugary, honey. MF: quite some carbon, medium body. Taste: citric start, almost sour, lemony, then pretty fruity, pineapple, peaches, some grapefruit, bitter and piny. Aftertaste: citrus, grapefruit, piny, quite some alcohol burning in the throat. Good IPA, but misses the malty backbone to make it a great one.

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark golden colour with average, firm, frothy, minimally lacing, white head. Dry and fruity hoppy aroma has notes of grapefruit, citrus and a muggy touch of overripe orange and purulence. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, a touch of citrus, some dry to bitter hoppy overtones, a touch of grapefruit and bitter hop in the finish. The remaining impression is nevertheless dull, muffled, muggy, with hints of purulence.
