Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from my Belgium road trip. Pours a near black colour with a off white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, smoke & roasted malt. Medium body. Dry moderate bitter finish

Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark malt, hazelnuts, touch of coffee and cocoa. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Sweetish with lots of caramel malt, an okay Porter.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, some mild tar, liquorice, alcohol and dried fruits. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, mild alcohol, some toast as well as mild toffeeish elements. Smooth and slick.

On tap at SBH. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of lots of roast, roasted malts, coffee, hint of tar, liquorice, mocha. Flavour is bitter, deep roasted malts, some mocha, coffee, firm roast-bitter finish. Medium bodied. Tasty, lots of roast, just how I like black beers.

Bottle from Secret Santa Lowenbrau, many thanks! Black with a mid-sized beige head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, a bit of light coffee. Decent and drinkable, nicely balanced roast.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen (01/01/2017) - pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty, slight burnt dark malty notes, with chocolate, coffee, caramel, cocoa, hoppy backing, dry roasted finish.
