Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Malty flavour, coffee, light sweet. Malty finish, toast and coffee.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBSG 2015. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown head. Aroma is malts and firm coffee. Taste malts, some coffee, lightly roast, lightly bitter and also a slight sweet touch. Lightly dry finish, decent body and carbonation.

Bottle from 77ships @ RBBSG 2015. Many thanks! Dark brown colour, beige foam. Medium carbonation. Nose of coffee and caramel. Bitter, roasted malts, some sour notes. Not very well balanced. Ok.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. Purchased @ Caigny. BBF 5/10/14 (yeah,….). Blackish dark brown,… Nose is oily, oddly varnish-like with coffee, nail polish, lightly vinous,… Taste is lightly vegetable, coffee, herbal, molasses, light sourness, bitter nail polish, varnish,… Body is a bit thin & nail polish-like. Too many varnish & nail polish-like notes. Age might be at play here. After purchasing, I noticed that it had already expired, a distribution issue might be at play here.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: coffee, very roasted, bit sweet, sourish. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, caramel, bit sweet, malty, sourish quality. Aftertaste: coffee, roasted, bit fruity, caramel, hoppy, dry finish.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee aroma. Roasted malty coffee and chocoalte flavor. Has a roasted malty chocoalte and coffee finish.

Dark brown with red glimts and a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, coffee and liquerice. Flavor had hard roasted malt, coffee and liquerice. Finished sweet.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, soy sauce, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and soy sauce, leading to a dry and roasted finish. The body is light.

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and dark roasted malty. Roasted malty, breadish and liqourice. Light bodied. Mild fruity and hoppy into a dark roasted malty finish.

clear dark brown, small light brown head. aroma of sweet toffee, dark caramel, chocolate, way too much toffee for my taste. chocolate part of the aroma is nice though. very roasted flavor, also lots of chocolate, toffee way in the background. much nicer than aroma, but a bit too thin a body to take on so much roastiness and charchoal.
