330 ml. bottle sampled. Bottle obtained in a big Israeli trade. BBF 20/04/2015. Dark red fruits amber. Nose is metallic, sweet moldy, rain water, musty & nasty, damp cellar. Taste is moldy rain water, rotting leaves, musty, rotting herbal,… Watery & ditch water body. Pretty bad to be honest.

Pours rather unclear , dark brown . Smell is weak , some malts . Taste is bitter , some sharp maltyness, very chemical sweetness to it . Very ... not good ?

Dull light brown. Smells like an American dunkel more than anything German. The malts are bit thin, showing a hollow coffee and toast character.

Draught at the brewpub, medium brown with reddish streaks and a touch of hazyness, aromas of roasted malt and barnyard, all a bit to light. Flavours of caramel, biscuit with whiffs of smoke and barbecued meat. Just barley qualifies as a dunkel, could have been a lot more assertive.

Draught sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with red hues. Aroma of toasted malt and a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with hints of butter and some caramel. Medium-bodied.
