Bottle, 2015 Wild Wit, bottled december 2018. Even for a barrel aged wild beer that's a pretty long journey at the brewery. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malt, funk, slightly tart, bit vinuous. Taste: Wheat malt, citrus and grapefruit notes, very smooth, pretty strong vinuous notes of red and white wine, grapes, subtle farmyard funk, oak wood. Moderate sweet and tart and light bitterness. Moderate bitterness at finish. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting dry finish with bit astringent mouthfeel. Wow! Great! I love the great complexity and balance of this beer with the smooth, silky background of the White Ale. First time I'm rating 5 of 5 on Ratebeer. This one is absolutely perfect for me.

Bottle. Cloudy straw coloured with a white head that doesn't last all that well. Aroma of fresh grapefruit, damp wheat/ boot polish/ mango funk, passionfruit. 8+ Dry, slightly tart. Has that soft, almost chalky Wit texture, then a brief intense punch of citrus and tropical fruit, then a gentle bitterness with oak and spices. Lovely, elegant.
