Clear dark golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some elder flower and some horse blanket. Sweet taste with a dry finish. Nice saison.

0.33 l bottle from 'drankgigant.de', bottled in February 2020. A little hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, gooseberry, elderflower, some hay and hints of clove. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, fruity-floral, slightly grassy taste of lemon peel, elderflower, gooseberry, some hay, a touch of clove and traces of grains, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, yeasty-spicy, quite dry, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice classic Saison with a touch of elderflower which fits in really well. Another very solid beer from the birds, their consistency is astonishing.
