RBESG08 grand tasting. I really liked the Taybeh Golden (the version brewed in Palestine) and I hoped that I would like this as well. Poured a nice murky brown red body with a nice light brown head. Notes of cocoa, coconut and caramel malt in the nose. Chocolate pudding taste with some sweet maltiness. Trace hops. A surprisingly nice, light and pleasant beer.

Bottled at RBESG. Hazy nut brown, airy beige head. Strawberry aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body. There’s some toffee and estery fruit. Salty finish. This is a good beer - so unlike the crap that Haus der 131 Biere sells under their name.

Etwas säuerlicher Geruch, malzmuffig. Mild säuerlicher Antrunk, wenig bis gar nicht malzig. Ab dem hinteren Mittelteil etwas würzig, etwas amlzig, erneut säuerlich. Nichtssagend. Danke an Barak für das Bier! Test vom 27.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,7,4,11,5 - 6,05

33 cL bottle, thanks to DSG - I owe you one - cheers mate. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Light roasted caramel malt aroma. Flavour is hardroasted malt, light caramel flavour and a distinct acidity. Light spice note too. Ends with a lingering roasted malt flavour and a light acidic note. Nice.

12oz bottle from gotmos, hauled this all the way back from the homeland. It pours with a black body and a ghost white head. Quickly the head fades. The aroma is dusty dry dark cracker with light cracker. Taste is less corn with a more malt sweetness. This takes away from the dryness in the aroma, it also finishes a bit watery. A light easy drinking beer with just a bit of corn, so in general good.

Re-rate 8/5/11: Bottle at the brewery. Bottled 3 days prior to my visit. Dark chocolate, roasted malt, toasted bread and a drier finish. Tasty and easy-drinking. Best bottle I’ve had so far. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

Re-rate 8/4/08: Dark brown color with a medium bubbly slowly-diminishing beige head. Aroma of malt, some bread and coffee hints and some fruitiness. Sweet malty flavor with some toasted bread, caramel, fruits and light spiciness. Finishes drier with roasty notes, hints of licorice and alcohol. Medium-bodied. Quite tasty. 6/4/6/3/13=3.2

Bottle. Color is dark brown with a medium beige head that doesn’t last very long. Aroma is nice sweet malt with some caramel. Sweet malty flavor with a soft bitter finish. Medium bodied. The mouthfeel is a bit too thin but still quite pleasant. 6/3/6/3/12=3.1
