Vom Faß: Golden, hazy, bigger creamy white head, leaving rings on the glass, fresh herbal-hayish hops in the malty to worty nose, presumably yeasty-fruity spots underneath; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, very soft; lingering and smooth hayish-bitter finish, balancing malt well derectable. Hazy yellow with a med white head. Aroma had floral hops, citric and biscuit notes. Over the palate came floral hops, biscuit, light bread and lemon. Soft carbonation. Finished dry and medium bitter.

Vom Faß im schönen Biergarten von Meinel’s Bas, Hof, zum Abschluß meiner Oberfranken-Reise 2016. - Bernsteinfarben, schwach trüb; schöner Schaum. - Nase wunderbar frisch brotig-malzig mit grasigem Hopfen und zarter Honignote. - Antrunk frisch und mild hefig, kräftig hopfenwürzig und orangenfruchtig gehopft. Rundes, zart honigsüßes helles Malz, perfekt auf die gediegene Hopfung abgestimmt. Gut rezent, leicht mineralisches Mundgefühl. Abgang gut orangenfruchtig-hopfenherb. - Kräftig gehopftes und doch rundes Zwickel-Pils. Ausgezeichnet! (Verkostung: 12.9.2016.)

Tap @ Meinel Braü, Hof. Pours hazy golden with a white frothy head. Lots of grains, grassy and herbal hops. Chalky and dry. Hop burps. Brilliant - had a rough time to choose between this and the filtered pils when I came to round 2.

On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Pours golden with a big white head. Aroma of bread, floral, grass, mild citrus, nice. Flavour of bread, cereals, yeasts, light bitter, crisp and tasty, refreshing. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Another good beer from Franconia.

Light golden color. Excellent saaz hop and cereal nose. Super light body, hoppy uber drinkable, so enjoyable. Love it.

Draught. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Citric, but OK aroma. The flavour is fruity, naturtrüby and yeasty. Quite süffig.
