Pours hazy orange with a foamy white head. The aroma contains spices, herbs, apple and some Speculoos. It tastes light sweet with the Speculoos apparent at first, leading into a medium bitter spicy and apple-like finish. The bitterness is unpleasant and the aftertaste chemical, though. Fizzy carbonation and medium body. Strange take on a fruit beer and not too well balanced.

Bottled@Cambrinus, Bruges. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is floral, some berries, fruits and mild spices, yeast and some alcohol as well. Flavour is fruity, some alcoholic notes, mild yeast as well as some apple skins and mild toffeeish notes.

33 cl bottle @ Cambrinus, Bruges. Rated 24.06.2015. Aroma has peaches, mild hoppy tones and fruit candy. Also some grain and hay. Flavour has peaches, tart grapefruity notes and some fruit candy. Rather foamy palate. Feels like a Belgian blonde - not like a 8.5% tripel, hides it well. Too sweet.

Thanks! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ BBF 2014.Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is soapy & chemical, fizzy, sweet hay, chemical. Tastes chemical, artificial, insect killer, hay, white sugar,… Fizzy,… Some pretty off-putting flavours for me. Didn’t get Apple or Speculaas spices.

Clear dark orange to beige beer, creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: spicy, lots of apples, apple sauce, apple skin, bit sourish, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: yeasty, green banana, bit sweet, sugary touch, yoghurt, spicy, cloves or cardamom or some kind of spice. Aftertaste: bit chemical, overripe banana, sugary, yeast, unpleasant bitterness, spicy.
