The standard blonde ale in this somewhat uninspired series of Waardamse beers by Stokhove, bottle from the Prik & Tik in Zele. Snow white, medium thick, irregularly edged, papery lacing, large-bubbled, slowly dissipating head on a misty pale orange-hued peach blonde beer with lively sparkling. Aroma of ripe apricot, moist white pepper, banana peel, red apple, coriander seed, some nectarine, turnip and very light background DMS (overcooked Brussels sprouts). Sweetish onset, some red apple and subdued banana esteriness with a thin sourish edge, quite lively carbonation, minerally but not harsh; slick cereally, very lightly caramelled malt sweet middle, lean and supple but with a light metallic edge. This metallic aspect lingers along soft and altogether well-applied coriander seed spiciness in the finish, but hop bitterness remains very feeble and the DMS returns retronasally too, albeit not too strongly so. Simple, too sweet and too metallic as well as completely uninspired - 'forgettable' is probably the best end conclusion here.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ BBF 2014. Hazy citrus, little white head. Nose is sweet hay, malt, light odd lactic sourness; Taste is white sugar sweet, musty hay, lemon, light sourish lemon, touch lactic sour. Tad lemon + lactic body. Not sure if it should be like this?

7/II/15 - on tap @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2015-155) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!

Cloudy blond to pale beige beer, creamy small white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, some banana, dairy, bit sweet, floral, lots of coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, fruity, yeast, lot of banana, more yeast, sweet, some yoghurt. Aftertaste: very yeasty, overripe banana, coriander, little bitter. A bit too young maybe?
