This English-style IPA is brewed in the ways of old ales shipped around the Horn of Africa to India in the 19th century. Highly hopped with UK varieties and higher alcohol than most English ale styles, this IPA is a worthy Endeavour.

I had this right after the Jack London and honestly stylistically they were quite similar. Although it says traditional English style, I found it too sweet and moreover a bit unbalanced for the style and definitely not British. Much more like an American Amber. Dark amber-orange color. Malty backbone with some fruity hopiness. Still not really my cup of tea. Honestly saying this is the first BR beer I wouldn’t order again, though I am not saying it is a bad beer.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is a bit weirdly hoppy - is it East Kent? The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops, as well as lighter notes of metal, hay, citrus, and chewy malt, leading to a dry, bitter, and hayish finish.
