Standing 8 pilsner 4.9%- it is a medium gold, man they make lots of golden beers, with a thick head of foam that leaves great lacing costing the glass. Slightly more floral than the helles with less malt character but dn near identical. The palate is a bit rougher than the helles, more earthy & more floral in terms of hops with a semi-dry finish. Middle of the road. It doesn’t gel for me. Once warm it got rough. Nice enough but I preferred the helles.

Tap @ the brewpub in Min Hang. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass, citruss. Taste is bready malt, lots of nice floral and grassy hops, hints of grapefruit and pine. Medium body, soft carnation, lasting bitter finish. Nice refreshing pilsner. 070112

Grassy hops and a touch of floral. The grainess really jumps out. Light refreshing excellent bitterness. Hell yeah, this is what I want to drink when it is 38 degrees , 99% humidity in early July. Great summer beer. Dry grassy finish - probably gets a couple extra points for matching the weather so well.

An amber pils with a very thin white head. In aroma, a smooth hoppyness over biscuitty malt. In mouth, a smooth biscuitty malt with a nice mix of German hops and c-hops, some metallic notes, medium bodied. On tap at Fu Xing brewpub, Oct. 24 2010.

Hazy orange-straw. Nice thick head. Thick wall of lacing down the glass. Rich hop aroma is full of resin, citrus and some fresh bready malts. Rich bitterness, pithy and long. Sticky icky icky. Good malt balance, though. Clean, rich and very moreish. A top-notch pilsner, even if it could just as easily be called an IPA.
