Bottle Clear, amber body. Frothy to rocky slightly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hops, flowers, vanilla. Quite well balanced soft aroma (maybe a little bit soapy). Moderately bitter, lightly sour, fruity (citrus, grapefruit) flavour. Not complex, but quite ok balanced.

First rating(33 cl bottle, at The Rover, Göteborg) Metallic and yeasty alcoholic scent. Fresh but spritzy taste, some yeast, a bit thin which I found strange. Shady orange color, small white head. Very spritzy high co2 mouthfeel. Low bitterness.7/3/7/2/13=3.2Second rating(33 cl bottle at The Rover)BB 09 12 01, not sure what states the year, but it has been sitting in the storage for at least 2 years.Shady orange color, white head. Acidic, licorice, wild yeast, raspberry, mint, apricot and milk scent. Milk, acidic, apple, lemon peels, yeast and sweet taste. Low bitterness. Spritzy mouthfeel.7/3/6/3/13=3.2

This is good. Interesting label and clearly a story behind it.. Opaque orange color and tall head. Lots of brown sediment. Simple yeast aroma with some malt and fruit, and flavor has more of the same. This is a simple and straightforward beer but very well balanced and very easy to drink. Lacing head that never fades away.

(Bottle 33 cl) Original version from "Brouwery Crombe" (yes, it’s actually spelled that way!) For some reason I had expected a pale Tripel, but instead I get a deep golden, bittersweet beer. Very full-bodied and potent with lots of nice malts. Nice if not really exceptional. 030296

Bottled. Clear deep golden, rich head. Sweet, syrupy and malty with some grassy hops. Fruity and slightly raw mouthfeel.

Honeyish and citric nose, adding the yeast sediment gives it a bready note. Amber, quite carbonated, fluffy head. Sweet cane sugar notes, some butterscotch and noticable citric acidity. Surprisingly lightbodied, slightly overcarbonated mouthfeel. Butterscotch and metallic citrus aftertaste.

Copper color. As Joris says, maybe this is the one brewed by Strubbe; simple aroma, light malt. Quite poor taste, light malt and woody sourness; quite strong bitterness.

A dark amber beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is fantastic, with notes of spices, cloves, malt, hops, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet - a little too sweet for my liking, but it also contains notes of spices and corriander. Hops and alcohol runs prickling over the tongue and last for a long time.

(Quite aged sample - still original brewery) Clear amber (end fully hazy) with greenish shine; yellowish head reduced to rim in a minute. Hazelnut butter, vegetable & veggie oil, madeira & metallic aroma's. Definitely oxidation in the taste, caramel, madeirisation. I sense candi-sugar. finish is a bit metallic-bitterish. Oily mouthfeel, quite tangible. Well bodied, some alcohol and probably fusels. Far from bad, but the metallic finish was characteristic for more than one Crombé beer. The refermentation didn't help, obviously.

Slightly hazy golden color, medium lasting head. Quite weak aroma of spices, citrus and hops. Also not very strong taste, again spicy and hoppy. Not really impressive, i would say a quite weak triple.
