at beerweekend de lambiekstoempers 2014 Pours rather clear blonde, no real head . Smell is pear , sweet, bit funky . Taste is a bit sour , pear , some sugary notes . meh ... bit thin and watery . carbonation feels saturated rather than refermented .

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Streekbierweekend 2014. thx! for sharing people. Light hazy apple golden, cream white head. Nose is pure honey, sweet peal, sugar, chemical,… Taste is sweet apple, quince, sugar, fizzy, white sugar,… Sweet, touch sticky body. Not really what I was hoping for in a quince beer, more white sugar & some honey here.

Little cloudy orange beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit dusty, peppery, ripe to overripe fruits, spicy, dry, some citrus. MF: quite some carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of citrus, bit dusty, spices, peppery, sour. Aftertaste: orange peel, bitter grapefruit, bit sugary, fruity, bitter unpleasant ending. Can't taste the quinces, yet I've made and eaten quince jam myself lots of times.

Very good white head over very carbonated yellow beer with a slight veil. Rainwater, herbal, pale malts. Taste is faintly sweetish, but especially dull, no real flavour popping up. Spritzy, fizzy, bit agressive carbonation. This is a disaster. Quinces, sweet as they are, have so much flavour, and so does good canesugar. I have tasted beers that had NO quinces, but tasted more of quinces than this does. The result is, pardon my French, p*ss poor. As if they wanted to prove the idea that organic is dull...
