Clear light gold body and fast gone foam. Weak musty sweetness aroma, could be hops but probably just sugar. Taste is more sweetness, slight grain, ending wet. A kolsch should be more than wet sugar, someone should send a memo.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Grain with feint candy berry. Hopefully that’s not a hose issue (keg was changed recently).

On draft at Bar One in Revelstoke. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Bready aroma. Some flavors of biscuit. Pretty bland stuff.

Tap. Golden, fine pearling carbonation, white head. Light dusty/minerally nose. Fruity base pears, light citrus, strawberries, light herbal and earthy hops, citric retronasal Chewy, slightly mealy mouthfeel. Definitely on the right way, needs to be a hint cleaner and ephemeral to be a perfect example of the style

Tap @ Malone’s. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, notes of grass and hops. Quite mild.

Pale blond color. It’s a light beer, with mild citrusy notes and a mild crispy malt flavor; low bitterness. Pleasant.
2010-03-26, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 5-3-6-3-11=28
Hazy blond color. Light and delicate, with some fruity aroma (peach), dry mouthfeel, light malt flavor, and a light citrusy touch. Correct bitterness. Simple but refreshing.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a pale golden yellow. Aroma of corn and grass. Flavour is pretty mild, along the same lines. Just drinkable.

Clear very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin white head - not much. Aroma of bright citrus, strong malt and wheat, some light spices and a bit of corn. Light-bodied; Strong wheatie and malty flavour with some fake sugar tastes piled on top, then with some corn type flavours as well. Aftertaste is less than complex, a bit mild with some malt and a tiny touch of hops thrown in. Overall, not so great - but good to try in the end. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Sherbrooke Liquors in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 27-December-2008, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 28-March-2009.

Bottle: Poured a whitish yellow color beer with a big bubbly white head with average retention. Aroma of malt with some discernable hops are quite pleasant. Taste is refreshing and pleasurable at first with a good grainy malt presence and some light bitter hops. After a couple of sip I started to feel a creamy buttery taste reminiscent of dyacetil that was not overly enjoyable.
