Loosely based around the Illicium recipe, Ensnare is a single hopped Imperial Milkshake IPA with El Dorado hops. With plenty of oats and lactose for a silky body, the El Dorado hops compliment the sweetness with flavours of Strawberries, candied fruits and light candy floss notes.

That typical Wander Beyond molten popsicle flavour. Lots of lactose, vanilla and fruity hops. Quite citrussy, oranges, and some gooseberry as well. Thick and smooth, very dangerous drinking, damn tasty. Always a pleasure to drink these things.

Smell- medium strong, caramel, cake, malt, sweetness, fruits, nuts and lot more. Foam- thin to medium, sweet, chocolate, fruits, cocoa, alcohol. Head is small, creamy white color with a bit of a yellow tint. Appearance- good looking and interesting can. Hazy orange color, no carbonation. From- snifter Taste - sweet, fruity, caramel, chocolate, cocoa. Weak bitter notes in back very well mixed with malty and cake goodness and alcohol. Tasty beast. I like sweet stuff!

Wigan Beer Festival 2020. Hazy amber brew. Has a fine milkshake styling and his hoppy-sweet for it.

Can. Hazy darkish gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and finely minerally crisp. Lots of vanilla - loads. Some piney hop and vague citric hop. Light finish. I think Wander Beyond are heading up a blind alley here, double milkshake IPAs - heavy on the vanilla (wot day says the supremely dumb Ratebeer style system) isn't a good way to showcase single hops. I won't be investing in any more of this series. Love the boldness from this brewery but not everything bold is good.

Hazy blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a certain fruitiness and also sweetness from the vanilla. Well balanced.
