Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy off white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is nutty malt, light yeast. The flavour is strong bitter with a rich malty alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with JMGreenUK. Thin creamy off white head. Very hazy amber pour. Malty bitter aftertaste

330ml bottle. Murky, amber-ish brown colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, ochre head. Malty aroma with a sweet-ish nuttily touch, hints of nougat, cautious, fruity hoppy overtones with hints of red berries. Taste is initially minimally sweet malty, nuttily, later dry, slightly bitter hoppy; quite monotonous overall. Name is not entirely remote.
