Pure malt ale, gluten free, brewed with both barley and wheat malts. Isabella has a fresh taste, is slightly fruity and bitter, with a thick, creamy and adherenthead. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, top-fermented and second fermentation in the bottle. 4 EBC.

Bottle at Hundholmen, Bodø. Pours a hazy straw colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of grass, white bread and some sweet corn. Flavour of grass, pale malt, sweet corn and some minerals. Has a slick and light mouth feel, light body and soft mouth feel. Fresh and light. Okay blonde.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden, rich head Grainy nose with orange and hay. Mid dry with light body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grainy, mellow malt. Orange blossom and hay. Mid bitter finish. Relaxed.

Bottle (from KCM Kupittaa Turku). Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild citrusy tones with a bit wooden and earthy tones. Flavour is nectary, some slight citrusy, sweet malty and a bit some yeasty tones.

375ml bottle from Bar 91, Glasgow. Hazy gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, fruity, yeasty notes. Taste is sweetish, malty, fruity, yeasty, banana hint, bready, some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Vi nærmer oss målsnora på Mi2 denne februarkvelden, og får nå den sjette i en serie på 10 ulike flaskeøl fra et (for oss nytt) italiensk bryggeri, alt på elegante 0,33 flasker. Det skulle nokså raskt vise seg at i enkelte av tilfellene var designet det eneste å glede seg over, og vi lurer på hva som er vitsen med å importere lavkvalitetsøl langveis fra når der finnes så mye spennende, velsmakende (og kompetent brygget) i Skandinavia. Uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Krydret aroma og søtlig smak (igjen!) uten særpreg eller retning. Derimot er gjærpreget påtakelig. Stay away from this one.

330 ml bottle, as Birra Flea Isabella *Gluten Free, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.9%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma of malts and over-ripe fruits. The flavour is moderately sweet (tolerable malts for a gluten free beer), with a slight citric fruitiness and a \"spicy\" yeastiness, moderate hops in the finish.
