4/II/23 - 75cl bottle @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging, BB: n/a (2023-126) Thanks for sharing the bottle!
A little cloudy blond yellow beer, no head. Aroma: nice, very funky, a bit fruity, brett notes, sourish impression, herbal touch, some peaches, nice! MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, a bit oxidized, slightly sweet, lots of overripe banana, yeasty, rather unpleasant, meh. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, orange peel, some tannins, not very pleasant, not a fan of this one.

Bottle at Wodan tasting. Yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste floral, "bloesem", apple, farmhouse. Meh. Thinnish. Don't really like it.

Bottle from one of the 1st Covid relief packs last year. Clear golden, small white head. Soft peaches from a can, mild brett, sweet pastry dough and some grain fleeces. Light sweet, light sour, a bit of a watery blindspot in the middle. Light gelly feel.

Bottle shared. Hazy golden with white head. A lot of oak, sweet malts, orange, quite herbal, vanilla, Nevel yeast, apricot, yoghurt. Medium sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium bodied with almost no carbonation. Quite oaky and herbal, quite nice but could use more carbonation.

Bottle. Golden color. Oak, vinous notes, citrus, hint of vinegar and soft earthy notes in the aroma. Malty yet dry flavor. Oaky, slightly herbal, soft earthy notes, citrus. A well rounded sourness. Some berries maybe. Complex, lovely beer.

Bottle. Available from Nevel webshop because of the Corona situation. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Moderate tart, wood, vinuous. Taste: Light tart and sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness, leathery funk. Light vanilla hints. Wood, a lot of tannins, dry mouthfeel. Vinuous, very light hints of grapes. Long lasting dry and bittery finish. Low carbonation, medium body. Very nice, pure Wild Ale.
