Orange color, cloudy, chunks of yeast. Pineapple aroma. Yeastbitter flavor with a touch of pineapple. Yeasty aftertaste with an upcoming nasty cabbage-like bitterness.

Deep blond Christmas beer, hazy, with caramelly aroma, fruity yeastiness, flowery hops, fruity taste with light spiciness, sweetish. Not bad but rather forgettable compared with so many other Belgian Christmas ales.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Golden with a white head. Nose is sweet pears, heavy on bitter esters mixed with white sugar sweetness. Taste is bitter grains, esters upfront, very bitter herbal, quite a bit of hops. Grainy & sparkling body. so/so, bit dull even if there is nothing per se wrong with it.

Copper colour. Aroma has a pleasant sweetness. Flavour has the sweetness too leaving a finish a bit like bubblegum. This mixed with a metallic edge is not great.
