Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes citrusmy hops, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle shared with Ian at the Bermondsey bottle shop. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Light smooth malt, whispers of honey and caramel. Light marmalade hops with a modest spicy pine. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Draught at Serious Biscuit, Seattle
Golden color. I appreciate the light and crisp character of the malts, it’s very dry, and then followed by strong bitterness, quite resiny, piney.
Very good.

Bottle at Charlie’s place in Encinitas. Pours perfectly clear, rich gold with a frothy white head. The aroma has toasty, dry malts, caramel, pine. Medium sweet flavor that is heavy on the dirty pine, also with dry caramel, grass, toast and orange rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat dank to finish with still more dirty pine, toasted malts and caramel, melon, orange and grapefruit rind. Pretty average.

Sample at the Willoughby PBCCP tasting on 11/17/2013: Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a wispy film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and citrus. The finish is fruity with a citrusy hops and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
