Draught sample at MBCC 2021. Pitch black with a tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark, roasted malts, oaked and bourbon notes. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Slightly drying finish with lingering bourbon barrel. Very nice.

[ As Seven Island Moctezuma Bourbon Barrel Aged ].
ABV: 12.2%. Dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, bourbon, oak, wood, resin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, bourbon, chocolate, woody. IMO: a bit ruff and for me to much resin - wood. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20211022]
