Dark brown pour with a velvety tan head. Notes of coffee, bourbon, bourbon barrel, cocoa nibs, toasted coconut, salted caramel. A bit unbalanced and salty, but the coffee, whiskey and cocoa notes are right up my alley.

Wonderful aroma of toasted nuts, chocolate, vanilla. The flavour is quite roasty, salty chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla, and strong spirit kick.
Excellent.

Black colour; thick brown head. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma, almonds. Strong chocolate flavour, full bodied, with moderate sugar content; brown sugar flavour, chocolate, strong coconut and bourbon, nuts, and ending with alcohol warmth.
Wonderful.

This is getting absurd. Time for the SEXXXTuple? It is Valentine's Day! Keg at Houdini's Escape, 2.14.20. Black, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of brownie batter, oak, whiskey. Taste is roast, booze, chocolate, caramel. Medium bodied, boozy. They need to stop. Too much barrelling ruins all the barrelling.

Bottle thanks to Santa. Merry Christmas. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium beige head. A huge boozy nose, sweet coffee and whiskey. The flavor is huge, but it stays on the drinkable side, rich almond, coffee, milky notes, hot whiskey, teasing it all out is difficult. Maraschino cherries. Coconut. Look, this is nuts in such a good way. Just lovely. Works well. I remember working with Epic before they were even open, they are just kick ass.

Release #1.
Pours a pitch black with an impressive head of tan foam that shrinks but never disappears. Lacing is okay.
Smells of coconut, cocoa nibs, brandy, whiskey, coffee...everything printed on the label is noticeable. Some feat. Oops, I forgot to mention the almonds.
Cocoa nibs, Brandy, almonds, coffee and whiskey in that order taste wise for me. With a minimal alcohol presence and burn. So balanced. There's some caramel sweetness but it's minor. It leans more to the bitter side.
The mouthfeel is extraordinary.
Wow. This is one of the best beers that I have ever encountered. My scores will reflect that.

The Aromas are cocoa, dark malt, vanilla, roast and a little Brandy. Flavors are a lot like nose, sweet, with the cocoa coming on stronger adding almonds and maybe some caramel. Very rich beer. Good body, carbonation with a slightly boozy finish.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Very dark brown body, patchy beige head. Aromacis roast malts, nutty, light coconut. Beer is full-bodied, roasty, coffee flavors, almonds towards the back. Caramel and coconut are very faint.

Bomber, 2019. Aroma is fudgy, coconut, wood, booze, raisin, licorice, wet stone, cinnamon. Pours inky black with a thin beige head that collapses into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, with lots of coconut and chocolate; some coffee in there, maybe a hint of salt and nuttiness from the almonds, but they're kind of hard to pick out. Not quite the velvety mouthfeel I like in beers like this, and that's pretty much the only negative thing I can say about it. Absolutely delicious, though.
