gefunden in einem ranzigen Asia-Supermarkt auf der Reinbrechtsdorfer Straße in Wien und bereits über ein Jahr abgelaufen 👴.
Ein alkoholfreies Malzbier aus Nigeria 🇳🇬, das offenbar für die Muslime im Land ist.
Es ist picksüß🍦 und sonst eher wenig. Es erinnert stark an Malzzuckerl , aber wenig an Bier und ist einfach zu klebeig.
Man kann es gern probieren,aber wirklich geschmeckt hat es mir nicht 😒.

330 ml bottle, from Asia Matbutikken, Jørpeland. Made in Nigeria. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of malts, grain and caramel. Sweet flavour, lots of malts / malt sugar and caramel.

Can from EBI Intercontinental Foods, Woking. Opaque cola brown. Frothy foamy tan head. The aroma travels. I certainly got an early sample as I was pouring. Very malt. Almost floury. With low key sweetness. Flavourwise it's more sweet. Caramel. Light fruit. An umami edge. Medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation..Long slightly astringent finish. More chewy than others of this style. Not super keen. It's too sweet for me.

[33cl can from an African food store in Bracknell.] An impressive looking pour, a glossy reddish brown colour, almost black, with a retentive tan head; strong malty aroma; overwhelming malty taste, like concentrated Ovaltine, and a somewhat milky body; then a sugary malty finish. I won’t be rushing back for another can.

330ml can from Ozmen Extra in Firth Park - jet black body with a short lasting tan head. Sweet Ovaltine nose, sweet sugary fizzy malt.

28/2/2025. Bottle from Raja stores, Ipswich. Pours very dark maroon black with a creamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is malted, milky chocolate, wafer. Taste is very sweet, dark fruits, a little clammy. Quite smooth, low carbonation. It’s not too bad. It’s sweet malted goodness.

Aha ok to rate??? Tried several times years ago. Terrible malt extract. Sweet dark baking syrup.
