Golden color with an alcohol aroma. Flavor does not match the typical tripel taste. It has the alcohol burn at the finish but was missing the sweet candy flavor and fruity character. Only had very light Belgian fruity flavor, taste was more like a regular Belgian strong.

Aromas are malt, Belgian yeast and oddly bleach (no way The Glass). Flavors are similar to nose, belgiane in the inexperienced American style. Bittersweet. Drinkable but nothing more.

A 12 oz bottle acquired from the accommodating folks at Half Time. A domestic Belgian ale, hell yeah, worth the effort. I'm using my longest serving beer glass, a globe from New Belgium tonight. Th pour shows a very clear light gold body with a minimal head of totally white foam. The nose is nice and also style appropriate, yeast, apricots, ether and white bread. The drink, likewise style appropriate, comes at me with yellow fruit, malt, yeast, peaches, crackers and comfortable meadow. Slightly sweet with the moderately high alcohol level being nowhere to be seen, at least for now. My only complaint is a thinness in the sensation. In total, a decent USA effort at a tripel.

Bottle from an online shop. Clear gold, small head. Sweet nose, Amontillado Sherry and spicy hops. Sweet, decently rounded, medium complexity on the tongue, raisins and herbs. It's missing the Belgian yeast bomb of top complexity, though. Pretty nice and enough hops to (almost) balance the sweetness.

Yeeted the yeast in, oh well. Cloudy (eh), light amber color. Aroma has some yeast, fruity banana. Sweet, yeasty, fruity, fairly strong. Banana and maybe some apricot. Very nice in any case.

Leicht oxidierter, mild herb malziger Beginn. Süffig, süßlich herb, geringe Würzigkeit. Süßlich, hellmalzig, gut trinkbar. Mittellanger Abgang. Nett. 10/10/9/11/10/8/10

Nicely true to style, which is rare outside belgium. It’s a good beer that is nicely fermented and has a bit of alcoholic bite to it. Hopcult dresden
