Bottle. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, some coffee, mild herbs as well as some toffee. Flavour is mild toasted tones, lots of coffee, some floral and mild fruity tones with citrus as well. OK CDA.

Tap @ Mikkeller and Friends. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma is hoppy, citrussy, cocoa, coffee, ripe citrus, orange peel, light tobacoo. Taste is hoppy, citrussy, ripe orange, cocoa, chocolate, grounded coffee.

Very dry black IPA, almost indiscernible from an intensely hopped stout, roasty and bitter with layers of bakers chocolate and java against a prolonged pine-resin hop finish. Mostly identifiable characteristic is its clingy bitterness, but some sweetness does emerge as the pint warms, mild citric notes mixing with subtle coffee acidity and a little milk chocolate. Mocha nose is inviting, and the pour's beautiful, coming out a deep black with brown edges and a thick beige head offering up tons of lacing. Palate's a little iffy, thick and rich but a tad bit abrasive. No heat, though. Nice beer.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Pours almost black with a large firm tan coloured head. Delicious aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, mild coconut, caramel, citrus amd hop. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness, very well balanced. Medium body, thick texture, soft carbonation. Very very good.

Bottle.Black colour with medium beige head.Aroma is strong of coffee and chocolate,nice roasted and malty with good full body and slight oily mouthfeels,good nots of hops and wood and creamy smooth finish.

Almost black with thin head. Aroma and flavour are quite strong with resinous hop in the first instance. Later the bitterness of roasted malts and coffee come though.
