9/I/16 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ Akke's place - BB: 15/IV/18 (2016-20)

Clear light orange beer, big creamy white head, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass, pretty stable. Aroma: fruity, hint of banana, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, grapefruit, metallic, banana. Aftertaste: bitter, some grapefruit, citrus, sweet touch, banana.Earlier Rating: 8/4/2011 Total Score: 33/08/2011 33cl bottle blind tasting @ Klaas' place (2011-363) Thanks to Satch for sharing the bottle!

Clear blond beer, small but ok white head, bit stable. Aroma: sweet and fruity, spices, herbs. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: hops, nasty taste, very bitter, some citrus. Aftertaste: citrus, very bitter and dry ending, even medicinal. Way too bitter, if you want to use that many hops, it needs more balancing.

1/3 33 cl. bottle courtesey of Kraddel. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is hugely metallic, yoghurt, white sugar, touch hay. Taste metallic as well, white sugar heavy, bit medicinal, white bread, yoghurt, touch herbs & more metal in the back. Yeasty body. Tumulus Nera was quite nice but this one not so much.

Bottle at Margriet. Clear, golden, lots of bubbles. Tall, pillowy head. Hoppy nose, grass, hay, some orange. Bready malts. Hoppy, nicely bitter flavor, but very thick and bready malts. Fruit and hoppy, minerally, but not so distinctive.
