250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambiek Fontainas. Orange, lightly hazy, small pretty solid white head. Nose is heavy on pine resin, lots of bark, light floral, lots of pine. Taste is pine resin, oily, very dry, lots of peel, light floral, quite bitter, faint biscuit, lots of pine. Med. Body, very dry. Not my favorite kind of IPA but decent all the same.

Draft @ ML Fontainas. Léger orangé, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme aux houblons fruités tirant sur un léger côté agrume et un rétro herbacé. Palais reste houblonné avec un fruité agréable pour une amertume modérée. Citronné-agrumes Pointe de houblon noble reste présente avec un léger fini herbacé. Le tout sur un malté carapils, cara et Munich, fin garde un léger côté fruité entre agrumes-pamplemousse. Encore une fois, rien de bien spécial au niveau découverte IPA si ce n’est un houblonné fruité qui semble plus de la partie que les versions antérieures.

Keg at Moeder Lambic Fontainas - Brussels. Pours clear gold with a dense, frothy cap. Earthy, coniferous hops in the nose, some orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with ripe citrus, piney hops, light alcohol, biscuits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finih, a little warming, with slight marmalade, pine, rind. Not bad.
