Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Clear deep red ruby colour lasting pink beige head. Red berry and cherry aroma but not real fruit aroma. I am guessing it's a syrup. too sweet. cherry vanilla flavour too sweet.

33cl bottle from Comptoir des Fagnes beer store near Couvin in Belgium. F: big, egg-white-pink, average retention. C: dark red, hazy. A: sweet artificial cherries, syrupy sweet, bit raspberries. T: oh a lot of red fruits but in a strange artificial way, alcohol is quite hidden, white sugar, medium carbonation, not as sweet as in aroma yet I lost the point here.

A really great beer. Like a strong belgian red, a slight sourness, but very slight. Cherry-like, yeast driven. Beerwulf online

Clear red brown beer, big irregular creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, cherry flavoured candy, more oxidation, marzipan, meh. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sugary, sweet, pretty sourish, artificial cherry flavourings, bitter touch. Aftertaste: very sugary, artificial cherry, alcohol, dirty, a little bitter, meh.

For some reason, one of the salesmen thought to blow us away with “a brand new beer”, and he gave us this. We only learned afterwards that the smoked version of Gulden Draak was also handed out, yet the guy decided to hand us this one, and only this one, instead. Weird choice, if you encounter a group of beer geeks with T-shirts of the local beer enthusiasts club… Anyway.
Clear dep ruby red beer, big creamy solid pinkish to beige head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: artificial cherry flavourings, cherry candy, sugary, pretty bad. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary, bit metallic, lots of artificial flavourings, sugary, slightly acidic. Aftertaste: soft bitter touch, all candy flavourings, cherry candy, nothing else. This is pretty bad…
