Warka is the most “beery” brand with brewing in its name. In the brewing jargon, the word “warka” means a portion of beer obtained from one brew. At the same time, it’s the name of a town with centuries of brewing traditions.
Warka Jasne Pełne is a classic lager, whose great taste is a result of carefully selected ingredients, special recipe, and the Polish hops called Magnum. Warka is the only beer brand in Poland with a chain of its own pubs. Currently, there are about 80 Warka Pubs (Piwiarnie Wareckie), which serve as a place for building beer culture and promoting the brand.

Can from an offie in Seaton. 5.2%. straight out of the can... I assume it's yellow with a foamy white head. The aroma is quite sweet and intoxicating, rich tea biscuits, custard creams, bready, grainy, donuts and a touch of hit garbage. The taste is initially dry and grassy, herbal, peppery spice, grainy, rich tea biscuit, custard creams, dull alcohol, underlying sweetness for sure which persists... Finishes up dry with a splash of soda water. Average body and moderate carbonation. Felt very sweet initially but I got used to it. Actually not too bad.

Pours pale golden with a frothy white head, tracing carbonation. Aroma of rice, grassy malt. Taste has flat malt, sweetness, some hop oils. Palate has more grassy hop oils on the tongue. Eh.

Bottle from local Plish shop – at 5.2%. Pours a golden yellow with a large but transient frothy white head. Has a faint aroma of Worcestershire sauce. Sweet and juicy at first in the mouth, before the taste buds kick in and tell you that the flavour is actually vegetable soup mixed with washing-up water ! Parts of the mouth report sharpness and grains however. Finish is quite sweet but with a hint of spices. As an inoffensive macro, it’s quite nice.

500ml can from my local Eastern European mini-mart. Light to mid-golden, clear with a ring of white head. Not a lot of smell, a little bit of lemon peel maybe. Tastes fine, very sweet but otherwise decent enough. Aftertaste is a little saccharine. Lightly carbonated. Certainly not bad for a macro.

Tight white head left a covering on translucent pale golden body. Malt & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, high carbonation & cloying on the back. Malt, sweet, syrup & grain tastes. Ooh that's bad!
