Our Black Ale Chilli is our very first beer and has a bit of a kick. We add dried red chillies to the fermenter for a hint of fruit and to create a dry, spicy finish.

Medium brown color. Light chilly in the nose with some off sweet chocolate character. Chillinin themouth. A bit of roastiness. Ok

Rund malziger Beginn, kein Chili - auch im weiteren Verlauf nicht. Minimal bitter, angenehm schokoladig, weich. Süffig, mittellanger Abgang, Gemüse. 10/7/8/9//9

Can from Biervana. Darkest brown, fluffy brown lace. Rye bread, chili herring, umami, roast. Medium full body, dry, roasted, burned bonito, smoke, juniper, singed hay, chili burn in the back, smoke retronasal. Very interesting.

Can. Hazy bown color with some floatees and a beige head. Aroma is rye bread, light chili, chocolate, earthy. Taste is chocolate, light chili, a touch grassy, a bit mealy as well. Soft mouthfeel with soft carbonation. I like, although it could use a bit more heat. Good!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2018, Day 2. A black beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, bitter citrusy hops. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, bitter hops.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Max. Dark brown to black, tan head. Roast, piney hops, vegetal chili, medium-bodied. Too vegetal.

330ml can from Good Spirits Co. dark brown with a well proportioned tan head. Fruity coffee aroma with a hint of spice. Coffee flavour too with the chilli coming through on the finish to leave a most pleasant warmth

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 11 May 2018) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, chocolate, vegetables and green peepers. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, chilli, Swedish turnips and a balanced roasty bitterness in a finish with a slight chilli bite. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting, with a vegetal chilli touch. Nice one.
