Pours very clear, wattery yellow. Scent is strong, fleshy apples, but mostly hoparoma. Tad dank, drassy, milder hopfruityness. Taste is Sharp, dry, tad acidic, apples, harsh, milder than expected hoparoma. Wattery body, medium carbo. Bit unpleasantly thin and dry to me.

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Hazy pale straw, almost white. Dry hard apple, some hard pear too, grassy, watered down pineapple juice. Very watery and dry, “almost” sour. This cider really seems to need the hops to have a wider flavour. Quite dry, quite hop-fruity. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy greenish pale yellow with small white head. Dry apple, green apple, dank green hops, light malty, soft yeast, light bandaids, dry mineral notes. Light sweet, bitter and very light sour. Light bodied and a bit watery, light dry finish.

Bouteille 33cl de Joran - Belgian cider discovery box.
BB 08/2022.
