Can from Village Vintners, Pyrford. Aroma is doughy with a sugary lemon juice streak. Clear light gold. Thin white head barely managed a light froth. Medium bitter, woody, metallic, with a juicy citrus edge. Underlying malts. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Had worse. Keeps things vaguely interesting but no interest in having another.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus. Taste is light citrus, very refreshing grain.

Can from B&M Bargains, Todmorden. Light golden with a thin head. Understated as a lager, there's perhaps a little more character in this respect in its nose than taste, which has some carbonation hiding a citrus zing.

330ml can from B+M Bargains - Clear yellow, fizzy head soon goes. Nose is straw, a bit grassy. Taste is underwhelming. Cheap.

330ml can. Pours gold with brief fizzy head and minimal retention. Aroma of malts and corn. Taste is the same, moderately clean and crisp for a pils. Body is fine, carbonation is low, I would have preferred a bit more. Semi-sweet pils and very mild bitterness in the finish. Ok for £1 but average all the same.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden and clear. Thin but attractive lacing. Nose - sweetcorn and corn oil. Cooked greens. Taste - sweetcorn and some greens again. Palate - would like more bitterness, especially since this has been loaded as a pils. Light bodied. Overall - decent.

330ml can from B&M. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a yeasty, gluey, mineral woody hop bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Lots of carbonation up front and no defining flavours. Unrefined.

9/8/2020. Can from my local Co-op supermarket. Poured clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus and grass. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation. Crisp finish. This is a pretty decent lager, good work from Woodforde's this one.
