Not the best tripel I have had but certainly let's you know that it is 9%. Bought from Beers of Europe, drank at home.

33 cl. Aroma and taste: rich maltiness, pleasant citrus and spicy tones of yeasts, warming, a pretty good brew.

I have a 33 cl bottle obtained from Finest Belgian. This evening my Straffe Hendrik tulip glass will catch the pour, I see a shiny, semi-transparent, yellow-orange body with a tall head of eggshell tan foam. The scent presents well with apricots, yeast, dough and meadow. The drink is likewise all right. There is yellow fruit, malt, bread, green apple and a decent presence of hops. I get a substantial dense sensation as I take a drink. All well done in a traditional-tasting tripel.

330 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of subtle spicy Belgian yeast, stoned fruit, and soft bready malts. Flavors of Pilsner malts, bread crust, more soft spicy Belgian yeast and dried fruit leaning towards trail mix. Clean. Quite Belgian, but not very exciting.

330mL bottle, pours opaque dark orange with a large white head. Nose brings out plenty of spicy Belgian yeast, light floral notes, and a bunch of earthy breadiness. Flavour is quite spicy and earthy, with plenty of spicy Belgian yeast, a touch of clove, maybe even banana, and earthy bready malt. Nice yeast expression, but this is a bit too earthy/murky. Definitely well-made, but far from one of the better Belgian tripels. Good.

Bottle, tasting ar Ryan's
Dark brond colour, chill haze. The aroma is quite peppery. Good body, off-dry; nice bready malts, and nice spicy yeast, with robust bitternes in the finish, and warming alcohol.

330ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: Belgian esters, some hops, a bit of flowers. Taste: along the same lines, maybe a bit boozy to me for the style. Overall: ok.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Clear-ish gold with white head. Belgian yeast, light hopping, semi-dry, enjoying this one.
