Bottled:
Pours dark reddish brown with a large, thick head. Slightly roasted aroma with notes of winter apples, brown sugar, fudge and alcohol. Taste is fudge, brown sugar, marzipan and ripe apples leading to a somewhat boozy finish.

Bottle. Nose is toffee, candied fruits, spice, hints of plums and apples, a little bread, yeast, orange. Taste is woody, orange, slight cream, spice, and cloves, bread, caramel, prunes, chocolate aspects, a little yeast.Gentle booziness in the finish. Hints of brown sugar and a little nut in the finish and the faintest hint of roast. There is a lot going on in the flavour, it’s a very good example of the style, perhaps a little thin. For some reason I don’t love it, I can’t explain why, it plays all the right notes... but seemingly not in the right order.

Bottle (from Koht). Pours. dark brown with beige head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, fruits, esthers, spices. Flavor follows the nose. Finish is caramel and dry bitter with spices and alcohol. Carbonation is rather high. Overall: ok.

Flaska från Etre Gourmet. 2013 vintage.
