On tap at Monkey Paw, pours a hazy bronze with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, bready malt and maybe a touch of butter. Flavour is massive, with resinous hops, caramel malt and a hint of butter. Nicely balanced and thankfully the butter is also minor. Okay.

Draft at the brewpub - San Diego. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma has spicy pine, jammy citrus, some dry orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with bready pale malts, bitter and spicy pine, ripe citrus, hints of marmalade, dried flowers. Medium to full bodied with fine, chewy carbonation. Lightly warming to finish, somewhat resinous, more pine, florals and rindy citrus. Pretty drinkable.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft, Brussels.

Thx! To Antoine. Sampler draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Amber with a creamy white head – enjoyable lacing. Nose is sweet malt, yoghurt (light), sweet sugar, caramel malt, light fating grapefruit hops,… Taste is sweet malt, light caramel, touch yoghurt, sweet sugar, herbs, light yeast, very light grapefruit,… Touch fuller body. Indeed somewhat infected but not heavily. Drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub. Sweet toffee, butter, grassy hops. A cloying crystal bomb with cake and then dirty grassy hop finish. Been finding a lot of these lately. Doesn’t really work for me. Too much of the caramel.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid hoppy. Crisp bitter, mango and peachy. Smooth sweet, solid hoppy leading towards a more dry and bitter finish.
