Bottle from Carrefour. Hazy golden, thin, frothy, off-white head; some floaties. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, canned peach, pineapple, apricot jam, yellow apple, coriander. Taste has sweet banana, pineapple & melon, all in all quite an estery profile, 'white' bready maltiness underneath with some soapy coriander, faint orange peel bitterness; yeasty, spicy, grassy hoppy finish, more ripe yellow fruit & warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Technically not flawless, but decent.

Flip-top 33cl bottle; BB 26th Aug 2021. Poured into a thistle shaped glass at home on 17th Feb 2020. No sediment left the bottle, so I got a clear and clean amber beer, thin white head on top. On adding the grist, the head grew and the sediment added more aroma and taste (as well as a few floating particles within the glass. Yeasty and malty notes rule both the nose and taste, some fruity flavours also. Nicely hidden alcohol content (my bottle was 9% ABV), only showed up towards the end of the drink. Liked it!

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a murky amber colour with a thin off white head. A fair amount of sediment. Aroma of stone fruits, apricots, plums, floral. Taste is fairly sharp with a mild sweetness, no bitterness. Mild flavours of apricot, plum, apple, orange and more floral notes. Not very fresh tasting. Mouthfeel is a bit soapy. Not very Christmassy. Overall it is a pretty poor beer really. Disappointed 20/12/2022: 2nd tasting. ‘Label 9% abv’. Pours a hazy light golden/amber colour with a medium creamy white head. Aromas of stoney fruits. Taste is more stoney fruits, apricots, floral and some peppery spice. Medium to full body with a spritzy tangy mouthfeel. I don’t know if this beer has changed ‘9% from 10% last tasting’ but it is actually very good and fresh tasting which is the complete opposite of my previous rating. Not a very Christmasy beer but still a good one. Originally rated this 2.0 and now up to 3.8 . That is how much my opinion has changed!

Big frothy head. Aroma has citrus, melon and cinnamon. Hoppy, herbal citric flavor. The alcohol is very well hidden. Long grapefruit finish. Very well made complex and delicious beer. Re-rate: deducted a few points, because the alcohol doiminates a bit too much.

Strong yeasty nose. Hazy medium golden colour, small frothy white to off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma toasted malt, butter, Belgian yeast, caramel, overripe apple. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, yeasty, caramel, light cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, fruity touch, alcohol. Sweet and a bit bitter aftertaste, alcohol, fruity notes, spicy bite, full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation. Beer to sip slowly, aroma and taste develop while warming up, well-balanced, good tripel-like brew

Bottle at home. Three years old. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of grains, wet hay, liqueur, almonds, dried peaches, herbs, and some alcohol. The flavour is similar and is quite malty with some dried fruits and alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Malty and heavy, and a little boozy.

Flaska från Beergium, 2 år gammal. Bärnstensfärgad och nästan skumlös. Lite platt kropp en annars en ok abt med sirapslimpa, honung och torkad frukt och lätt kryddig beska. En hel del alkoholvärme. Ok
