Superbe bière d’hiver, ambrée, couronnée d’un importante mousse blanche. Elle présente de beaux arômes d’herbes, de poivre et de malt. Comme toutes les bières de la gamme Goliath, elle présente une subtile amertume.

Bottle. Gusher. Pours nealry clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity notes and sourish touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with estery notes and touches of fruit. Disturbing sourish notes, staying into the aftertaste. Not clean, quite infected Could be better if done properly. Needs re-rating.

Bottle, 7%. Citric and fruity aroma, a little bacterial wet rag. Cloudy orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty and citric. Also has some infection in the flavour. Not good enough for a seemingly serious brewery.

Sampled at Kerstbierfestival Essen 2014. Hazy orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, lightly herbs or spices, sweetish and bitter at the same time. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of Goliath Christmas on 27 Feb 2012 at 15:35 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Hazy orange apricot, off-white head only on the sides. Nose is weird coriander & sweet yeast. Odd choice for a Christmas brew. Taste is fizzy coriander, yeast, soda, lemon, herbs,… Carbonation is way too high. I don’t get what this was supposed to be & it didn’t really work for me.
