Clear blond colour with lasting head. Has a clean and crisp taste. Malty with obvious spicy Belgian yeast. A bit plain but inoffensive.

Bottle at home shared with cousin Marte. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, lightly yeasty but also a hoppy touch to it. Hmm not bad. Flavor is malts, yeast a bit, slightly tart, tart fruity notes. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Decent. 7-3-6-3-13

4/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ holidays - BB: V/2018 (2017-1172)
Clear blond to yellow beer, big creamy white head, falls down quickly, bit adhesive, leaving some rings of lace in the glass. Aroma: bit fruity, floral, soapy, yeast, overripe fruits, hint of citrus. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet, marzipan, sugary, overripe banana, some citrus, lots of yeast. Aftertaste: sweet, banana, sugary, little fruity, more citrus, yeast, soft bitterness.

New Antwerp home brew commercialized through De Graal, tasted at Gollem. Lacing, frothy, moussy, snow white head, hazy ’old gold’ colour with greenish hue and medium sparkling. Aroma of straw, peach, dried flowers, caramel, strawberry, stale sweat, coriander but less pleasant impressions of dishwater and even manure as well, fortunately remaining subtle. Estery onset, gooseberry, pineapple and peach, medium carbo, deep spelt-like graininess, sourish, paired with a more supple bready ’barleyness’ with a very light toasted touch, soft herbal hop bitter finish, bit peppery with a trace of coriander. Another redundant addition to the fast growing league of new saisons.

Very good yellowish head, rather stable, over lightly veiled, lively carbonated yellow beer with a greenish hint. Wheat (it’s actually spelt), herbal and lightly spicy (coriander?). Smells fresh, but would be fresher without the obnoxious weed. Spicy, light coriander, thankfully no fake citrus, other grains, old cookies. Warming up, it becomes rather too perfumey. Light body, wheatslickness, quite spritzy. Not bad. Reducing its spices’ content with 3/4 could actually make it remarkable.

330 ml. bottle @ Gollem. Hazy golden, head is small, quite solid, off-white. Nose is huge citrus peel, light lemon Windex in a pleasant way, white pepper & esters. Taste reminds me of Duvel Tripel Hop Citra, a bit more soapy, taste is citrus, esters, light alcohol, white pepper yeast & touch soap. Body is lightly fizzy & touch soapy. Typical but well made for the category of higher ABV standard Belgian Blond Beer.

Bottle thnx to the ’brewer’ . pours unclear blonde, ok white head . Smells spicy , orange , bit coriander, very fresh . Taste is hoppy, bitter, balanced, bit sweet but very much in balance . Very nice style-example, with more hops and a very good mouthfeel and balance
