The thirst for knowledge, litterateur, fine arts (and big bold flavored DIPAs) drove us into a more poetic approach to dry hopping for the fourth installment in the Northbound Gravity Sessions series - and so the “everything in moderation, including moderation” dry hopping method was born. Hidden in this DIPA’s hazy depths, courtesy of large portions of naked oat malt, torrefied wheat and flaked oats, lies absurd amounts of Simcoe and Vic Secret hops. Expect tropical fruits, ripe stone fruits, citrus and all other buzz words associated with the style - we’ve more or less ticked all the boxes on the aroma chart with this one. Cülmination DIPA will only be available in 440ml cans.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth and sweetish malts, a light creamy sweetness. Smooth piney orange citrus, lesser tangerine and mandarin. A little hop spice. Mild stone fruits before a light and semi dry finish. Tidy and I drank most of the can before coming to the conclusion this is drinkable but unremarkable.

Nice yellow, white chunk of dense foam. Smells fruity, tropical, peach. Nicely smooth mouthfeel, oats clearly helping there. Big bunch of hops, sweet, fruity, very soft. Loads of peach, some white grape, ripe mango. Pretty damn good.

Can. Yellow color. Vegetable notes, tobacco, grass, green tea and tropical fruit in the aroma. Lots of tropical and citrusfruit, green tea, herbal notes in the sweet flavor. Pineapple.

ABV: 8.0%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat - oat, moderate to heavy hoppy, tropical fruit, moderate citrus and grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet fruit, tropical fruit, minerals. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200516]

Can @ Home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head, lacings. Aroma of rich frutiy hops, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, rich fruity hops, juicy tropical fruit, pineapple, passionfruit, citrus, orange, grapefruit. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish. 130520

Can sourced from Kihoskh and shared at home - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Punchy fruity notes of grapefruit, lemon, and passion fruit and pineapple from the vic secret, substantial oat laden mouthfeel and body, light herbal grassy piney notes into the finish. Lovely.

Burk Dipa provning då några nya jämföres med PQ. denna doftar lite tungt vilket är ovanligt för Apex men lite klassisk amerikansk C humle finns nog i drycken . smakar annanas och passion samt lite citron 🍋 skal. bra Dipa men hamnar Ändå sist av de tre vi hittills testat.
