330 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2014. Thick golden, little white head. Nose is awesome, cinnamon, fresh dough, thick fruits & berries. Taste unfortunately doesn’t live up to the smell, lots of yeast muddles everything else, empty, mineral, spice & dough only in the back,… Bit thin body. Sort of a missed opportunity.

Bottle sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli ’14, Bruxelles.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and smoke, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

2012-12-05, bottle at La Cave à Bulles, Paris; bb Oct 2014
Hazy amber color with red hue; medium sized creamy head. Nice aroma, quality hops, but terreux (earthy) and light manure. Lean body, caramel flavor with some toffee, light liquorice that should not be there, strong bitterness with moderate resiny/piney hops. The final is a bit dry. Not bad, but a bit rough, maybe it needs a different yeast.
